Back in July Travis scheduled a business trip for the end of August assuming that I would go into labor mid September and the baby would be 2 weeks old at least before he had to leave. Then Kaleb decided to take his sweet time and Travis would leave 6 days after he was born. That didn't seem like a great idea at the time (or ever) so we had to come up with a plan B. Who could come and jump right into my routing knowing me and my kids that I would feel comfortable with? I automatically went to Kristin but she was in Utah so we tried to think of another alternative. Unfortunately everyone is too busy! Kristin was the one person who I trusted and I knew could take the time to come help me in my time of need. Plus I knew she was dying to see Kaleb so I thought it might be a win win. We flew her down and I was SO excited to see her and I knew I could relax and she would help while Trav was gone. The kids were so excited to see her and I couldn't wait to show Kaleb off to her. She came and helped out and it was awesome! I can't thank her enough for putting her life on hold to help me make it through the adjustment of a week old baby, 5 other kids and a husband on a business trip. Thank you Kristin!
She has the touch and can get him to sleep in no time.
