I had optimistically scheduled a Disney Field Trip (yes they actually have those) a couple weeks after having Kaleb. As the date was looming closer and closer I began to tell myself how crazy I was. I think it is similar to when you pile your plate high when you think you are starving and then you realize that you can't possible eat that. That is my life. I pile it high and then I realize that in fact I only have 2 arms, 2 legs and there is only one of me. Not that a trip to Disneyland is that important it just clarified that I don't need to do everything and I can ask for help sometimes. This time I asked my awesome Mom if she would please please take my kids with Natalie to this special field trip at California Adventure. This was a big thing to ask because my Mom doesn't love Disneyland as much as we do. She was amazing enough to say yes and took the kids for the whole day. Not only did that leave me down to 3 kids instead of 6 but it made my kids day. Thank you Mom! The kids had so much fun and saw a whole new side of California Adventure. They did a behind the scenes art field trip. They loved it. We've been to Disney a few times since that day and one of their favorite things to do is to go and sketch the Disney characters. They obviously learned a lot.
The girls
Since there is no "T" the "A" will have to do!
They do act like Toys sometimes....plus Taylor says she has a crush on Woody and Buzz so I think she was pretty excited!
What a cutie.
What a.......total goofball. When I was her age I hid my face for every picture. We are now hard pressed to find actual pictures of me as a teenager. Then there is Taylor who hams it up for EVERY picture. We are hard pressed to find one where she is serious. Can you believe she was so shy she had to pried from my legs screaming at school drop off all the way to second grade? There is not one shy bone left in her body now!
The girls totally rocked Disneyland
Not only did they go to Disneyland but they also got treats - only because their Grandma took them. They know that I am too cheap to to spring for cotton candy.

Tanner was so into the whole day. He came home drawing pictures of all the Disneyland characters for the next week.
Taylor had Kaden carry the pink girls backpack - she told him that real men carry pink backpacks
