There was this show on TV called Everyone Loves Raymond. It was a rather funny show but in this case it is talking about the town of Raymond. EVERYONE loves Raymond. There are tons of reasons I could think, the people, the parade, the beauty, the small town feel etc. but this year the town I loved far surpassed all my expectations. They put on a town fair that was amazing. I don't know what I was expecting but this fair was amazing. There were donkey rides, a petting zoo, fresh cream buns, snow cones, cotton candy, bounce houses, popcorn, drinks and much much more. The kicker is that it was all FREE! The kids were in 7th heaven and I got to just sit back and watch them having a blast and not worrying about how much it was going to cost me. Plus I didn't worry about where they were. Travis knows most everyone and my in-laws know EVERYONE. It was an amazing family night and the kids now think that Raymond is the coolest town around.
The kids loved the petting zoo. There were actual llamas there!
Here is a close up of Tanner's cast - he had Mo Williams from the Cleveland Cavaliers sign it.
Alexis loved the llamas. One of our favorite movies is the Emperors New Groove and the main character is a llama. I think we keep hoping to find Kuzko in disguise in the petting zoos.
Yet another classic Callen face
Callen and Forrest loved all the free food and the bounce houses. There was a CARS bounce house and it was nearly impossible to get Callen out of that one.
The cousins had so much fun together. There just wasn't enough time to spend with them.
The cotton candy line was enormous! Luckily Dad and Grandpa were nice enough
to wait in line for the kids while they played.
I felt like a mini celebrity holding Trav's hand around Raymond.
He was a Raymond legend a few years back.....
We had an amazing family night. Thank you to the town of Raymond and all the hard
work that they put in to make it such a success!
It is quite possible that they had a little too much sugar.....
