Father's Day

This Father's Day Travis wanted to go healthy.  We made him a super healthy breakfast
of egg whites, oatmeal and raspberries.  It wasn't as fun to cook but he is trying to get
ready for Canada Day and he wants to be slim and trim.
The Davies family is slowly dwindling.  Josh, Kristin and Jacob are in Utah.  My
Mom went to Provo to take Josh up to BYU so it was just my family, Jessica,
Natalie and Dad.  Pretty small considering what our family gatherings are usually
like!  It was fun seeing everyone and celebrating the amazing men in our lives.
Since my Dad has the best sense of humor of any Dad I know I handed him his present
and told him to "open up".  He opened more than his gifts!  He was pretty excited to get
a new book but I think he was even more excited to get the plane trip in a bi-plane from all the kids.
I don't think my Mom was excited for him to get that!
My Dad is pretty amazing in every way but one of the things I love the most about him
is that he gives me a hug every time he sees me even if it has only been a day.
My Dad was trying to get his stomach to stick out as much as mine did.  It didn't
quite happen!  Jessica told him he looked like an old man.
The best Dad I could have ever picked for my kids and the best husband for me.  He
surprises us every day with his wisdom, wit and amazing guidance.
Plus he makes us laugh on a daily basis.  That is worth it's weight in gold!
Callen and Dad giving 2 thumbs up to Father's Day
Even Alexis got into the action.  We had a great day spoiling our amazing Dad

P.S. I think your Dad is pretty terrific too!
