Every year on July 1st there is a Raymond Stampede. It is a VERY big deal. It was the home of the first Stampede in all of Canada. For a small town they have made it a big deal all these years later. The town quadruples in size around July 1st. It goes from 3,000 to nearly 12,000. It is so much fun to be there for all the hustle and bustle of the holiday. The Stampede is always after the parade so I didn't get to go this year because Callen REALLY needed a nap but Trav took the kids and some of the cousins. Luckily I had Keely the photographer take some pictures for me and she did a great job!
Even Alexis had fun at the Stampede. I don't think it hurt that Trav took them to Fas Gas for some Canadian candy and the famous Canadian Slush.
Grandma Linda on the 1st. She is such a classy lady yet she fits right in behind the wheel of a big truck!
This first of July was better than we could ever have imagined. Especially the lunch in between. Grandma Linda and the Tollestrups went all out!
