I can't believe that we have only been to the beach once this summer. We had the typical June gloom, then just when the weather got warm Tanner broke his arm then we went to Canada. The weather has gotten HOT high 90's which is hot since we are close to the coast. It was a perfect day. We were a little worried about the stingray break-out. 30 attacks in one day in La Jolla. Luckily we went to Del Mar. No stingrays where we were.
Poor Kaden stepped on a rock after being at the beach for an hour and took a big chunk out of the bottom of his foot. You can just imagine how good salt water and sand feels to a wound. The lifeguards wrapped it up well and we made it through the rest of the day. I think he may have been a little bored hanging out with all the Mom's but hey he is a trooper!
We also have Tanner's handy arm cover so we thought we would see if it worked at the beach. It did~ I think I should officially be a spokesperson for the xerosox because the cover is AMAZING!
Callen is still afraid of the water so watching him is a piece of cake. I almost don't want to show him how fun the waves can be because he sticks to me like glue around water.

Oh my how I miss the beach. It just isn't worth the effort with two babies. Maybe we will be reunited in a year or two.
Hi there! Did you guys go to the beach today? We were there also. The beach by tower 1 was craaaazy busy with practically nowhere to sit, so we went north of tower 7. It was interesting with the baby! Although we brought Carson's bouncy seat and he was pretty happy all day long. I wish Haley was more afraid of the water!
