Birthday parties are magical for a 5 year old. Every time an invitation comes it is like getting a golden ticket. For some reason summer parties are even more exciting because it has been a while since they have seen their friends. When Lexie got this invitation she was especially excited because there was going to be a clown. As we were getting ready to go to the party Taylor being the sensitive older sister that she is told Alexis that clowns are scary. Then Lexie started getting scared to go. As we were turning the corner to the party Lexie said "I am officially freaked out to see the clown." She clung to me and wouldn't let me go until she saw that the clown was actually a nice clown. After that she had a blast. When I came to pick the girls up I was surprised at the face paintings they chose. Mia was as scary zombie and Alexis was her pet rattlesnake. Go figure!

ok this has nothing to do with the post, but I glanced at the pregnancy counter, and you only have 10 weeks left! that is serious countdown time. i hope you are feeling ok in this heat.
