That sneaky leprechaun did it again! Last year he turned our toilets and milk green but this year he got into our eggs and OJ. I still can't figure out how he does it every year. We put green around and all wore green to try and thwart him but no such luck. I had no appetite for the green eggs and bacon (maybe if they were green egg whites and oatmeal I would have gobbled it up) but the kids dove right in and had fun eating this morning. The boys had no problem finding green to wear and we were all decked out. Travis didn't wear green because.....well, he is permanently green in the ankle area so he is lucky all year round! We had a great St. Patricks day and each of us found a little luck. Tanner found a 4 leaf clover in his salad (cilantro), Taylor played her big performance scales, song and chords for her big test on Saturday in 3 minutes and 20 seconds (it has to be under 4 minutes). Kaden had a GREAT piano lesson even though he thought it might go well and then he would owe me for the lesson. Tanner had NO homework, Lexie got to go swimming at Mia's during our beautiful 80 degree weather. Callen got out of the house, climbed into the car where the girl scout cookies were, climbed into his car seat and had a grand old time eating thin mints. I was lucky in that we found Callen after searching frantically for 10 minutes. Travis went to the 5:30am session at the temple and had 2 days in a row of healthy eating. We all had a bit of the luck of the Irish with us. The only problem is that our little leprechaun (aka Callen) seems to have made off with my cell phone. I have torn my house apart, looked through the outside garbage - yes I actually did that - and still no cell phone. I might actually have to check myself into cell phone rehab to overcome my iphone withdrawal. Can anyone send some more luck my way and help me find my phone?
