Every year we all gather together on December 23rd to have our family Christmas dinner. We rotate between my Aunt's house and my mom's house since they are the best at organizing and putting together amazing dinners. This year it was at my mom's and it was fabulous. I love getting all of us together, the chaos, noise, the love and - let's face it, the technology. I took all of these pictures and when I went back to look for great pictures it was funny to see how many of them involved technology. I had one of Jake and Jess on the couch each with their iphone then if you look below you can see Tanner and Tanner (yes they have the same name) with their Nintendo DS, Travis and Kent with a basketball game etc, etc. After looking at the pictures it made me laugh to see that although we are in a techie world, in every instance we are using technology as a family. I guess the family that texts together stays together.
I am still amazed that my mom can find matching dishes for all of our crew.
The boys table - Jake and Adam have graduated to the adult table but I think that they secretly enjoy the kid table sometimes. Especially Adam since all things are OK at the boys table.

I wish it was a book they were poring over together, but it is still cute to see them snuggled on the chair considering in a few years only one will fit on that chair at a time.
