The kids did such a good job helping out this year
Growing up, one of my best friends mom would do an annual sugar cookie party. I looked forward to it every year and when the kids were big enough I started the tradition on my own. Every year right around Christmas I make a TON of sugar cookies. I am talking around 500 sugar cookies. Then friends and family come over the next day when I have tables set up with all the goodies to decorate the sugar cookies. This year I had a lot of help to make the cookies. My whole family was there. We had Christmas music going, Elf playing in the background, a huge mess and a lot of fun. I think I could make this an annual tradition where they all help......if only I can talk them into doing it again next year!
My mom was a HUGE help - as usual!
