My secret mission if I choose to accept - take 7 children at 9pm at night to an unknown grocery store 45 minutes from home and shop for cookie essentials. Needed: 3 carts, not easily offended sensibilities from all the "what a crazy, horrible, misguided, strange mother" stares and a lot of patience. You might be asking why I chose to accept this particular challenge. I should start by saying that I LOVE multi-tasking. Why just do one thing at a time when I can do a few? Which is why I am blogging, folding laundry, eating Golden Spoon and watching Kit Kittridge right now. On this particular multi-tasking day we went to Murrieta so that I could get my hair done, go see Twilight with Ivory and Chareese, let the kids play with their old friends and stop at Winco - the cheapest grocery store around. Since I knew the annual cookie party was coming up I knew I had to stop at this particular grocery store to get the best cookie toppings all in bulk! You will see in later blog posts why this is important to me. Luckily I had some great kids with me, the boys had one cart, the girls another and Lexie and I had a cart. We tried to stay all together as much as possible but I gave everyone an assignment. After reminding the kids multiple times that we were not in a speedway and not to run into the nice people, we made it out of the store unscathed and laden with goodies. It was an adventure and gave me one of those days where I thought.....maybe I could be a mother of 6. I may get a lot of stares and comments but at the end of the day it's all about the journey. Just to be clear, this is NOT an announcement. :)

You are one VERY brave mother...I guess with such well behaved children, this is do-able! Looks like a good time!
