When we were driving home from school today we saw a huge tumbleweed blowing across the road. With a car full of boys we had to stop and see this amazing thing. Of course we had to take it home as a souvenir. the boys were fascinated by this creation of nature and we had to examine it from every angle. They found that it bounced and would blow around quite easily. It is also very prickly. It is one of those great days where we had an impromptu science lesson without even trying!
