That's what little girls are made of. I had to capture this moment with the cousins. For the most part they play together really well but today was particularly cute. We had a tea party outside and then we made cookies. They both really helped and it was one of those moments you dream about when you are a little girl and dream of having little girls. Or maybe that was just me. I was the one who would pay Jacob to let me have more kids when we played the game of life...... Then of course we had to eat a lot of the dough. Why else would we make cookies? That is the best part. :)
DEBBIE POWELL'S COOKIE RECIPE
Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies
1 C sugar
1 C brown sugar
1 C butter
1 C peanut butter (Deb has been know to add 2-3 cups, depending on her mood)
1/4 C milk
2 t vanilla
2 eggs
1 t salt
3 1/2 C flour
2 T baking soda
1-3 bags milk chocolate chips
Pre-heat oven to 375. Mix butter, peanut butter, and both sugars until smooth. Add milk, vanilla and eggs. Mix until smooth. Add the dry ingredients, at this point I add my chips (it keeps the flour from flying all over). Mix well using a Kitchen Aide or Bosch mixer. Shape dough (use an ice-cream scoop). Bake for 10-12 minutes or until a little golden.
