SENIOR MOMENTS

Lexie and Mia are both in Starlets (a singing group) this year and love every minute of it except when they went to sing at a retirement home.  To say they were terrified would be a huge understatement.  They clung to me like glue.  It really surprised me because I know they both adore their great-grandparents.  They got there and did their performance for one group of seniors and then we went to another room for those that can't get around as well.  They did their performance again and then they went around to each of the grandparents to say hello and go trick-or-treating.  I had to very nicely and unobtrusively drag the girls to get their treats and say hello.  It was so sweet to see how excited the grandparents were.  Once the girls saw that they weren't going to bite they warmed up a little more and actually enjoyed themselves.  I think the moral of the story for me is that we need to visit our grandparents more often!

Does "deer in the headlights" sum these pictures up?

This is the room where they went trick-or-treating

We met some very nice grandmas.  They all loved the girls costumes.

Miss Jennifer the girls very patient teacher.
