The kids were so excited to give Kaleb a bath. It took a little explainigh for them to understand why he couldn't have a full bath until his belly button clamp falls off. At first I told them it would only be a few days. Then that turned into a few weeks and the kids were wondering if he would ever have a full bath. Just in case he reads this someday and is horrified that I didn't bathe him for weeks - don't worry you were still bathed. You do have a clean freak mother so you did get a sponge bath every day until you were ready for a full bath. Alghough I was dying to give him a bath we had to wait for his belly button to fall off to really get him in the bath. The build up was so big and we were so excited and he absolutely hated it. He was mad, sad, frustrated and everything in between but we loved watching him go through this first of many firsts.
Excuse me while I pretend I am speaking for my child - Do they really think I am not going to scream bloody murder for the next 15 minutes?
Does my neck seriously have to be clean?
