The second grade team put on an amazing Mother's Day Tea. I didn't know what to expect and they went over the top. It was one of the best teas I have ever been to. The kids made us a special place mat with a poem and we had an awesome breakfast. Panera bread catered it and there was some GOOD food. Then while we were eating we were entertained with songs from all of the second graders. The songs were adorable and they all looked so cute dressed up. After the performance they had some raffles. There were some great prizes but a lot of them were for gift cards to Starbucks and the Coffee Bean. Tanner was so worried that I would win one of those and had to give them back because we don't drink coffee. Luckily we didn't get anything but it was still a great day.
I loved Tanner's special place mat
Tanner's class
Tanner loved getting all dressed up and performing for me and all the Mom's. The funniest thing was that he wore his play clothes under his church clothes. As soon as we were done he took those dressy clothes off as fast as he could and was ready to play.
I even got a special rose hand delivered by Tanner
I loved every minute of the tea but the best part was spending time with Tanner.
