We were getting ready for Kaden's hike and we have this great mountain by our house. The boys wanted to show Payson this super cool hike by our house. They also like the tradition of eating snicker bars at the top of the hike. They may have liked that a bit more than the view. Poor Payson didn't know what he was getting himself into when he started. About halfway through he said that he thought we were going on a walk. I had to explain that we were going on a hike not a walk. It was fun to see them encouraging each other to keep pushing up the hill even though it was hard. They boys also kept telling Payson how great it felt to be at the top and how good those snickers would taste once we got there. There is nothing like teamwork especially when I get to be a casual observer of the dynamics between the boys.
Kaden was at the top telling Tanner and Payson that they could make it.
This picture was priceless. I hope the boys are just this close 20 years from now.
