WARNING: This post is not for the squeamish......For Taylor's science class my Mom was in charge and the kids were learning about the human body. This week they were doing blood typing to see what blood type they had. The kids were MAJORLY freaked out by the pin prick. I finally did one myself to show them that it didn't hurt. Then I may have promised Slurpees to anyone who completed the kit. The sugary promise made pricking their fingers worth it. Tanner was the bravest - he went first. Then Taylor went and lastly Kaden went. His reaction was the funniest. He was so nervous. His hands were clammy and he was turning white. Then I pricked his finger and he said "oh" and started to grin. He was shocked that after all of that it didn't hurt. They were all brave and I was proud of all of them. It was great for them to realize their blood types and to do it on their own.
