Witches, Fairies and Things that go bump in the night
Eye of newt, and toe of frog, Wool of bat, and
tongue of dog, Adder's fork, and blind-worm's
sting, Lizard's leg, and owlet's wing, For a charm
of powerful trouble, Like a hell-broth boil and
bubble.
- William Shakespeare, Macbeth
Taylor is in an amazing Shakespeare Class with her homeschool group. Each student gives a presentation about life in the time of Shakespeare to better appreciate him and his plays. Taylor was given the topic of Witches, Fairies and Things that go bump in the night. It was the perfect time for this topic close to Halloween. Taylor did a fabulous job. She had great visual aids: witches brew (homemade rootbeer), a witches hat and some Irish Soda bread with honey butter. She got into character at the end and dropped eyes, toes and bats into the bubbling cauldron just like the witches in Hamlet. I love that she is able to take this Shakespeare class and have such fabulous teachers.

She also showed some great Shakespeare clips:
