We went to Party City for Family Home Evening to pick out Halloween costumes. The saddest part is I grew up with a Mom who would sew all of my costumes and make some Ahmazing costumes. It is quite sad that my kids have to resort to Party City but it is what it is! Since Tanner and Lexie couldn't quite make up thier minds on what costumes to get Travis and Callen decided to find some fun on their own. To be honest, I was losing patience with how long it was taking the kids to pick out a costume and I just wanted to go home. Then Travis came up with his get -up and we all had a good laugh. I realized how therepeutic laughter could be. My patience returned and we were able to pick out some great costumes and having a ton of fun. Leave it to Trav to make us laugh in the midst of costume chaos!
Travis was trying to convince me that we really NEEDED these glasses. We had to have a serious conversation between needs and wants right at the check out stand as the checker tried to hide a smile.

Soooo funny! Your emails and blog posts come straight to my phone. I just read the headline I can't take him anywhere and thought for sure u were talking about bubby. I just had a good laugh when I saw it was trav :). U picked a winner! Love u guys!
