Alexis has an amazing kindergarten teacher. She is the same teacher that Tanner had 2 years ago. Luckily Mia and Lexie were able to be in the same class. They have a blast together. Every Thursday they do a cooking project. They have made a school bus out of a twinkie, a ghost out of a graham cracker and some frosting and today we made apple trees out of crackers, frosting, pretzels and skittles.
I got to be the special mom helper the day of the cooking class. Callen even came to help and was a GREAT helper with eating the skittles and crackers.
The hardest part was getting the kids to NOT lick the knives. As you can see Lexie was testing me.....
At the end of the day any time you involve frosting, sugar and fun the kids are going to love it!
