2 Year Check Up

Callen went in for his 2 year check up today. I went in knowing that he would need some shots so I tried to make it as happy a morning as I could. I have delayed all of his shots for reasons I can't really explain. I have never had one seconds pause on giving my other kids shots but the moment I found out Callen was a boy I started getting nervous about shots and the supposed links to autism. I know each side could hand me dozens of articles refuting each other but at the end of the day I had to go with my mother's intuition and just play it safe. I compromised with the shots. I still had him get all of his shots I just delayed him on all of them. When he went in for his 2 year he was one round behind so he needed to catch up. Now he is up to date and seems fine. He took the shots like a pro. He didn't even cry on the first 2. The 3rd one was brutal but he calmed down right away when I showed him Cars on my iphone. Thankfully he is a healthy and as the video shows a VERY happy little boy.

Notice the cars. We can't go ANYWHERE, eat, sleep or during without the CARS coming along for the ride. It doesn't matter which ones as long as they are from the movie CARS. I am afraid we are WAY over the line into obsession territory.
