AThis has been a summer of camps - basketball camp, art camp, kids camp etc. All the kids have had something to do except Alexis. I was counting our daily trips to thy gym as an excursion. We would throw in the library a few days a week so she wasn't' totally deprived. Then there was the bribery at the grocery store so she would look forward to going and actually thought it was fun. Even with all that I did feel a bit guilty that she hadn't done anything special all summer. When a girl in my ward started a princess camp I was all over it. I wasn't expecting much so I was in awe by all that she did. Each day there was a different them, Pirate Day, Hula Day, Princess Day, Bug Day etc. Each day had a very fun activity, craft and great food. Alexis had so much fun and decided that Princess Camp should be EVERY day. The funny thing is I think Princess Day should be every day too.....for some reason my husband doesn't agree.
