Laurie and I decided to take one last beach trip before the summer ended. It was short and sweet and just what we needed. The kids had so much fun, we were able to relax a little and I got to go on a great run along the beach. I think there is nothing better than running on the beach in the morning. The kids were exhausted by the end of the trip and we were all ready for school to start!
Molly and Sparky were desperate to join us on the beach.
So desperate that Sparky tried to join us by jumping down from the very high wall. He got stuck and had to be rescued by a lifeguard.....true story.
Who needs shovels, buckets and sand toys when there is a greater seaweed to water ratio right on the beach?
I think the kids thought they could rid the ocean of seaweed
