Lexie and her pre-school class recently went to a puppet show in Balboa Park for their field trip. We were really excited and we all carpooled down together. I was kind of excited because I had never been to a puppet show before. After going there I realized why I had never been to a puppet show before. It was CREEPY! It was the story of the Princess and the Pea and it was told by a man with a very deep voice that tried to talk in a women's voice. It did not go over well at all! Luckily we got to go to the park afterwards and end the day on a positive note by playing and having a fun picnic. Note to any and all readers (OK, who am I kidding - note to my family and the friends I bribe to pretend that my life is exciting enough to read about - do not add the Balboa Park Puppet Show to your list of San Diego "to do's")
The 3 Musketeers
Callen enjoying the park - it may have been one of the few times he had visited in his 19 months. The poor 5th child!
Ready, set GO! Nate and Callen loved the slides
Can't you tell he is excited?
Lexie's Pre-School teacher Mrs. Hoffman. She was a police officer before becoming a Pre-School teacher and there were days when Lexie gave her a run for her money.
