An Arranged Marriage...

With the turbulent world around us I have decided to take some chance out of my kid's future. Since mother knows best in so many situations I wanted to extend my area of expertise to the world of marriage. I am going to arrange the marriage between Abbey Hill and Callen. I supposed I should talk with her parents about this but I have a feeling they may agree with the brilliant match. They already have so much in common, they like the same toys, they both drink bottles, they both have a favorite stuffed animal that they carry around incessantly and they both love being held. What more could they ask for? They are practically perfect in every way. I figure that if they know about it from a young age then they will be more likely to comply with my idea. We will have to keep them apart from ages 12-18 when they will find each other nerdy and obnoxious - or rather Abbey will find Callen that way and he will act more and more nerdy and obnoxious in the hope that she will talk to him. Then when Callen gets home from his mission and they graduate from college we can plan the wedding. I think the whole town of Raymond may have to be invited but the more the merrier. Now I just have to arrange marriages for my other kids and we are set! It will take so much guesswork out of the future that I may actually be able to sleep at night.

Abbey came to stay with us this weekend while Brodie, Ivory and Payson went snowboarding. Ivory and I are switching babies. I will watch Abbey while they take a few mini vacations and she will watch Callen while we go to Cancun in 2 weeks thus insuring that we have a relaxing vacation. We will miss him like crazy but the 15 pools, petting zoo with live Crocodiles, Mexican ruins, Mexican food and a red-eye flight will not miss him. I think he will have a lot more fun playing with Abbey and Payson at the Hill's.

I had so much fun dressing Abbey and doing her hair. It makes me really want another girl!

Having twins has been fun ;) but the best part is that Callen and Lexie came down with hand, mouth and foot disease. Of course it is my luck that the symptoms appeared 2 days into my time with Abbey. Here is to hoping that it doesn't spread to Abbey considering they shared food, hugs, sippy cups and even toys that have been sucked on. No germ sharing here!
