New Years Eve

We had a perfect New Year's this year.  Travis and I got to go to a party for a couple of hours then we got to come home and get in our pj's to enjoy the night.  It was just us and 11 kids until my parents came close to midnight.  We played games, the boys watched sports and Nacho Libre.  We dipped everything we could find in chocolate.  Played charades and drank some bubbly to ring in the New Year.  It was great to spend the night with friends and family.  We all stayed up until midnight then I couldn't get the kids wound down enough for sleep.  We all finally crashed around 1:30. I heard a fabulous idea the other day - set your clocks back 2 hours and the kdis will never know that you welcome the New Year at 10pm instead of midnight. I am ALL over that next year!

My idea of a good party always involves chocolate.  Most of the girls agreed
with me but Taylor still spits out the chocolate chips in a chocolate chip cookie.  Disgraceful.

The boys just kickin it with some classic Nacho Libre.  Chancho & Nacho are alive and well.
We played a bunch of games.  We played Guess Who on Steroids, Would You Rather and Uno.

We were all a little loopy by midnight...

Taylor in charades - she had to breakdance.  She was a mean breakdancer
on the uneven, cold and uncomfortable tile floor.

Happy New Year!  Notice that the big guy is missing?  He is camped out sound asleep
in his bed.  The only way I am going to get him to stay up with my until midnight
is if I set the clocks back and keep it a secret from the kids and Trav.

Posted by PicasaNatalie and Megan had to slow dance with brooms and mops.  The scary thing was they were actually a little frisky.  We might have to watch them at the Stake Dances in a few months!
