We had a fun date night last weekend. At first I thought it was just a girls night for Laurie's birthday. I had to try and appease Trav about why we weren't having our date night on Friday night. (He was not happy). Then last minute I found out that it was a couples thing. (Now he was very happy). Thank goodness for family because I immediately called my sisters and Kristin and Natalie helped me out with last minute babysitting. Laurie wanted to go to a place called The Hash House. It was down in Hillcrest which she didn't know was a mini San Francisco. We stepped out of out bubble a little on that trip! The company was great and the food was amazing! It was so pretty that we had to take pictures. I got the chicken over waffles (so good!) and Trav go the steak sandwich that was too big even for him to finish. Then we walked down to a dessert place to round off the night with sugar! It was so fun and great to get out and enjoy San Diego a little. Happy Birthday Laurie!
