Lexie got to go to princess camp this summer - what a blast! It was perfect for her since she lives in a perpetual state of pure princessery. I know that is not a word but Lexie created that state of being. She was born a girly girl. She will remark on my outfits, shoes, hair etc. She has no problem telling someone that she likes/dislikes their shoes, hair, outfit etc. She also tells people that she liked the shirt they were wearing last time she saw them. My favorite is when I am folding laundry and she says "oh mommy, you washed my princess underwear thank you so much!" No one has ever expressed such joy over the mundane task of laundry. So in a nutshell this princess camp was designed for her. She got to dress up in a different outfit each day, Princess day, ladybug day, cowgirl day, Hawaiian day and High School Musical day. It was fun for me getting her all dolled up every day and taking pictures. Now if we can only take this talent for everything princess and help her act like a princess all the time and skip those few and far between moments when the ugly stepsisters come out to play and sit on the time out.

How could you ever get mad at a kid that adorable. She is the cutest thing ever! Like a walking Gap kid ad!!!
Oh trust me it is so not hard. Those baby blues lost their innocence long ago. She and the time-out chair should schedule play dates! :)
