Our stake put on a big Pioneer Day to celebrate our pioneer ancestors. I know it is nothing like the Pioneer Days in Utah but for us in Southern California it was pretty fun! There was a great breakfast with all sorts of choices, races, entertainment and pure fun! The kids had a blast and created some fun memories.
The boys were thouroughly entertained by the Pioneer band.

Callen getting ready for the 2 year old diaper dash. I am sure some parents thought we were putting our 3 year old into the race because he was so much bigger than the other kids.
Callen raced his little heart out and won first place! He had a huge cheering squad to motivate him. He was so happy to finish the race but didn't want anything to do with the first place ribbon.
We couldn't talk Lexie into running in the race even thought she is a speed demon. When she sprints she flies. When we tried to get her to run she got really really shy. Maybe next year.
I tried for a few minutes to get a serious picture of these kids. As you can see it was VERY successful
