Father Daughter Basketball

Taylor thought it was long past time for Travis to be her coach.  He has coached the boys but never her.  Since this was the last year that Natalie could do rec with Taylor we thought it would be a good chance for Trav and my Dad to coach Taylor and Natalie.  It ended up being a great season.  Since Travis and Taylor have such similar personalities we wondered how it would work but it worked just fine.  We had a great team and I know the parents of the other teams wanted to check Natalie's birth certificate to make sure she wasn't too old for the league because of her height.  During one game Natalie and another player wouldn't let go of the ball and they were fighting over it.  Natalie just ended up trying to raise the ball above her head and the little girl who was half her size still wouldn't let go of the ball so she got lifted off the ground and went with the ball.  It was one of the funnier moments of the season.  Taylor had her best season yet.  She has gotten very aggressive and extremely competitive.  We were so proud of her and how hard she worked.  It was also great to see Trav and my Dad in action as an outstanding coaches!
The team Mom put together this great picture of the team with all their signatures.  It was a great way to commemorate the season.

Tell Taylor to count her blessings, I had The BBall coach of all coaches for a father and never got him ONCE to myself, course I don't think Becky did either. Tell Trav, way to go, and we want to know if one day..years from now....if Taylor will do her "Dad @ Halftime" routine that Mark does so often?
