Glacier National Park

On our way home from Raymond to Kalispell Montana we took the scenic route instead of the quicker route.  At first I wondered if it would be worth the extra time in the car with 5 kids and a very pregnant mother.  After driving through it all I can say is that is is worth it with any amount of kids and a very pregnant mother.  It was spectacular!  The beauty, the wild life and the sheer magnitude of the views were worth every minute.
We couldn't believe how close the Big Horn Sheep would get to us.  Travis was a little freaked out because he knows how they can charge.  We did see two Alpha Males charging each other over a female.  After that we didn't want to get quite as close again!
There were a lot of landslides during the winter so there was a lot of road work going on.  Some of the roads were down to one lane.  We would have to wait until a huge line of cars would go by and wait our turn.  One of those stops I got out to stretch my rapidly swelling legs and a nice German couple took my picture.
The top was amazing and a little freezing

The animals were close enough to touch!
