Oh Boy......

It's true.  We are going to have another boy.  It seems that we are good at making boys and our girls are determined to hold their numbers to 2.  Trav and I went to the ultrasound and after making sure everything looked good we asked if the tech could see what the baby was.  It was fairly obvious......

After 6 pregnancies you would think I would be familiar with the awe that accompanies an ultrasound but it effects me the same way every time.  The absolute perfection of a baby is astounding.  I weep every time I see the pictures on the screen.  How is it that I am so lucky to be a mother?  How am I going to be enough for each of these amazing children that are mine?  Yet there isn't room in that moment for any fear, only the peace in knowing that I won't be doing it alone.
To say that we are thrilled for this little boy is an understatement

Congratulations! That is so exciting! Love those ultrasound pics...and I choked up a bit reading your comments on motherhood - the amazingness of it and the scariness of it. Such a huge job, but you are so right - we are not alone.
