Tanner had a great basketball season. It was fun for him to have a sport to play again. He has SO much energy that it is good for him to run some of it off up and down the court. He is a trooper and works so hard every time. Sometimes I am amazed at what he can do out there. He has some great shots and never seems discouraged when he misses. He is such a happy kid and always just tries again without any hesitation. He was one of the tallest kids on the team (shocker) but there was a little guy on his team that was amazing - proving that height isn't always everything!
The party at the park afterwards wasabig hit. Kids are so easy to please - some sugar, a slide and swings and they are good to go for hours.
The other kids love coming to the team parties becuase they always get the treats too.
It is so fun to watch the other kids run onto the court between quarters to practice their shots. Even Callen gets out there and goes through the motions throwing the ball up as high as he can.
