Easter

Easter was especially sweet this year.  We had our cousins in town and they helped us celebrate the Easter Bunny part of Easter.  Not the most important part of Easter but definitely a tradition not to be missed.  I didn't know how the Easter Bunny would get here because usually we go to the movies and while we are gone the Easter Bunny comes.  This time we were swimming with cousins and when we got home we had bunny trails all over our house.  The bunny even brought things for Evan, Ashley and Victoria.  Who knew he was so smart!  Taylor was out of town for the General Conference trip but he left a trail for her too.  I basically couldn't step anywhere without stepping on little trails of candy.
The whole gang (minus Callen napping and Taylor traveling)
Alexis was beyond excited
We call Tanner our "Chia Pet" because his hair grows at an alarming rate!
I think Kaden may have snuck a few candies before this picture was taken
There is an old saying that a picture speaks a thousand words.... if this picture could talk it would tell you that Tanner was actually excited to get a glow in the dark ball that will become the party favorite of the boys in the near future.  THAT is what his face is saying.
The big boys got real "official NBA balls".  Since there is secret magic in these balls they immediately had to go and see if they now possessed the talents of future NBA stars.  They sure had a blast trying!
Alexis was SO excited to get a new tea party set.  She used the other set so much it was in major disrepair.  This new one should last us at least a few months.  Everything seems to taste
better when it is placed on a polka dot tea set.

Callen was in hog heaven.  I don't think he understood the concept but he sure had fun picking candy up off the floor.  Although that is where he seems to find most tasty treats.  In-N-Out shakes from the garbage, melted ice cream licked from the table at Souplantation etc.  Sweetness must taste better when it is discovered.
The best part of the day was the end of the trail when Callen found his new cars.
Nothing is better than new Cars in Callen's world
We saved Taylor's trail for 3 days (no easy feat with a 2 year old in the house).
It was our first Easter without Taylor and we missed her!  It just wasn't the same without her.
She gets her amazing facial expressions from her Dad
The nice Easter Bunny even left some trails for the Davies kids.  It was a "sweet" day.
