Every time I go help in Lexie's kindergarten class it makes me want to go
back to kindergarten with her. They always seem to be doing some sort of
craft and eating some sort of treat. Who wouldn't want to go back to
that? This visit was no different. Lexie and I made gingerbread houses
and had a fun and very sticky time.
Each of the kids got a bag full of candy. They could use it all or use part of
it and take it home to finish (eat it) it at home. That was a tough choice, to eat
or not to eat. Lexie decided to put every possible piece of candy on her little house.
It was amazing to watch her attention to detail. It made me think that I should give
her more kinetic projects at home. She was focused and detailed and her house
eneded up so cute! It was almost a shame to eat it.....almost but not quite.
