Wednesdays are special around here. Not because we are mid-way through the week but simply because the kids get out at 12:30 and have the whole afternoon to play. They would be even more special if the teachers would give the kids a break and lessen the homework load but teachers and I don't agree AT ALL about homework. :) Laurie and I usually try to plan something fun for the kids to do to run out a ton of energy and make the day fun. While the weather is warm we go to the beach as soon as the kids get home from school. When it cools down we have to be a little more creative. This particular Wednesday we went to the splash park and then to 7-11 after. Now it was just starting to get cold so the water wasn't going at the splash park until the very end and Callen decided he just HAD to go in the water. The result is we have Guido Guissepe with his black jacket unzipped just enough to show his chest and no pants. I swear he must be half Italian because whenever there is a shirt with a zipper he zips it down just enough to prove his authenticity.
You might be asking yourself if I was embarrassed to be toting 4 children and one half dressed Italian into my local 7-11 and I would answer saying I lost the ability to be embarrassed when I had more than 5 kids and we are a spectacle everywhere we go~
The Slurpee's were a definite treat but they are NOTHING compared to a "slush" in Canada. Only 8 more months until I can have one!

You don't know me but I went to school with Travis and Erynn...(my mom and Linda were nurses together for ages). Anyways, we LOVE Raymond slurpees too and can't wait to have one next week! Take care. Candice (Holt)

Oh, the post about Trav breaking 240 is gone, but I still wanted to say I'm amazed and disgusted at the same time that he can sweat out five pounds in one day! Wow, I wish I could do that...or maybe not:)
It is disgusting isn't it? If I look at a cupcake I gain 2 pounds and it takes me 2 weeks to take it off again. He loses weight in the shower. AFter I posted the blog he told me I had the story wrong and he had gone down 10 in one day so it is even more unfair. Why oh why! Girls should have the fast metabolisms since it is in our DNA to crave and need chocolate!
