Happy Birthday Travis

Happy Birthday Trav!  September 7th 1972 - a whole 37 years ago the world became a better place when Travis was born.  13 years ago it became even better when we were married.  Through the ups and downs, and everything in-between he is still my best friend.  After having him in my life for 15 years I like him even better than I did when we met.  Plus you only have to meet him once to know he is something unique and special.  I have known that little secret for quite a while~  I do know that there are about a million reasons that I love him but I will keep it a minimum - I promise!

*I love how he always tells us he loves us

*I love how he tells me I am beautiful and the pretiest woman in the world at least once a day

*I love how he sets the bar high for our family

*I love how he wants us all to be "outstanding"

*I love how affectionate he is

*I love his silly sarcasm

*I love his laugh

*I love how hard he works for us

*I love his passion for what he does

*I love how he loves to be a missionary

*I love how every day is "free day"

*I love how he LOVES basketball

*I love how he loves us and hates to be away even for a night

*I love what a good basketball coach he is

*I even love watching him when he is the yelling parent from the sideline - it's just who he is

*I love when he says he was "on fire" after basketball

*I love how he still thinks he is a spring chicken even though he is approaching 40

*I love how if he could pick anything to do it would be to spend time with me

*I love how after 13 years and 5 kids, seeing me at my worst and my best he still thinks there is something special about me

*Happy Birthday Trav!  If I had to do it all over again I wouldn't change anything~

I have this amazing thing on my computer called "Faces". It recognizes every face in my iphoto library and makes a folder for each person I "tag". I went in and took all the pictures of Trav and made a movie for him. The problem was there were over 1,000 pictures. I had to narrow that down to 500 and even then the video was 35 minutes long. I am sure my family is laughing right now about the sheer amount of pictures I take but seriously my life is flying by at mock speed and I want to capture each moment at least 3 times......After a lot of agonizing choices to remove some really great pictures I finally got the video down to 10 minutes. I had to get it down to 10 minutes to fit it on youtube. After finally doing that I excitedly told Trav how excited I was that I could upload it and he informed me that "EVERYONE" in the world knows that there are other video sharing sites I could have used to load my 35 minute video onto. Apparently I am the only person in the world that did not know that so my 10 minute youtube video it is! For anyone outside of family I hope it doesn't bore you but to all family and friends that know and love Trav - Enjoy!
