One of Taylor and Kadens favorite camps is the basketball camp they do every year. It is all day and they come home hot, tired and very sweaty. I really enjoy the tired part, the sweaty smelly part not so much. I keep waiting for them to complain that it is too hard or too tiring or not fun enough but that hasn't happened in the 3 years that they have participated. They look forward to it every year and always come home with funny stories. They are starting to make more and more friends every year so it is almost like a summer reunion. Kaden is doing basketball camp back to back for 2 weeks this year he likes it so much. I think Taylor and Natalie would have done the same but they had art camp.

to happen but so far so good, they always get along and have a great time
The boys. Kaden was so excited that Jason and Ashvin got to come home with us 3 out of the 5 days. I may have even heard him say that is was the best week ever....
I think Taylor really enjoyed the week until she jammed her 2 middle fingers. They swelled up and bruised so badly that we had to take her in for x-rays. Luckily they weren't broken but she had to splint and wrap them not to mention ice and elevate for 24 hours. She missed the last day of camp and was pretty bummed but glad that she would miss squats. :) I was just happy we didn't have ANOTHER broken bone.
She asked it it would help the pressure if we just poked a hole in the swollen parts and let them drain. I didn't think that would be such a good idea and gave her Motrin instead. Ah modern medicine!
Kaden and Nick did basketball camp together. It was Kaden's second week and Nick's first. It was fun to see them play together and show how macho and tough they were.
