The Trevi Fountain
It was spectacular - there really is not a word grand
enough to describe this man made masterpiece
The gelato was dreamy!
The Collosseum- we only got to see the outside.
We are going inside tomorrow
I cannot belive that I am here in Italy. I have seen the movies, seen the pictures and dreamed but never even imageined that I would be here someday. I have to keep pinching myself to make sure I am not dreaming. It is beyond my expectations in every way. The people, the buildings and the gelato - I can't do it justice in words. The buildings make you want to cry and time travel all at once. It makes you appreciate history on a whole different level and realize what a young country America is. It also make you appreciate America in a whole new way. The only thing missing is my kids. I miss you guys!

Oooh, I LOVE the Trevi fountain! I'm glad to see you're having such a wonderful trip. Tell your mom & dad hi!
What!! Italy!! Are you kidding me. How fun. I can't wait to hear the rest of the trip. Have fun
YAY! It looks amazing. I can't wait...we leave in 2 weeks and I'm counting down the days. Enjoy EVERY moment!
Jason's parents love Italy too!! It is their favorite place to go. Jason and I hope to visit there someday. Glad you are having so much fun. Nice to be able to enjoy it with your parents too.
Yay!! Italy was my favorite country in Europe that we visited. Rome is crazy huh. It just buzzes all the time. Looks like you are having a grand time! Enjoy!
Awesome pictures! I can't wait to see more!
Okay first of all, your family is SO cute. I think that is possibly the most perfect family pic I've seen (in your header with the perfect wave crashing behind you!) Secondly, wow- Italy! Those pictures are amazing, what a fun trip. Third, I feel weird talking about rice on a post that includes a photo of the Vatican... but, fourth (and last I swear!) here's the side dish you asked about (one of my favorites). I didn't realize I never went back to add the link!

K, I'll stop bugging you now!
-Sara :)
We are sickeningly jealous of you right now!!
Sara - thank you and thank you! You know that picture on the blog is really a fake family and I just posted it there... just kidding. Someone told me we looked like a wireless commercial all lined up showing all the bars. Too funny. We couldn't find one picture where my little guy was looking at the camera. We tried every bribe imaginable. If you look close you can see buggars, tear streaks and sugar all over his face. Italy was amazing and the food was to die for. Hopefully i will find time in my life before I turn 80 to post more pix.
You know your blog has been my meal group life saver. People think I am a good cook and you are my secret - not to worry, I do give you all the credit and tell people about your blog all the time. Your recipes are ALWAYS amazing. I made something the other day that didn't turn out and sure enough it was a recipe from *gasp* another blog. Go figure. I know that anything you guys recommend will be fabulous. Thanks for the link. I love the rice.
