PLAY DAY

Every Wednesday the kids have minimum day. When I first heard that the school did this each week I had grand plans of all the things we would do in this beautiful city we live in. Well, as they say - the best-laid plans.....They do tend to go awry even with the best intentions. I think I am the queen of best intentions and it really bugs me when life has to get in the way of all the grand things I want to do in life. The kids often remind me of all the things we were supposedto do on Wednesdays. This particular Wednesday I scrambled to get my meal for meal group cooked in the morning and all of the things I have to do so we could go to Abby and Abba's to swim. It was a perfect day and the kids had a blast. Now I need to gear up for another Wednesday!
