One of our greatest blessings

Almost 14 years ago we received a major surprise. Our family of 8 was about to become a family of 9. Up to that point in my 19 years I had experienced a lot of happy emotions. When we found out Natalie was coming pure joy is the only way to describe the way we felt. We thought we couldn't get any happier but then she came and it has been bliss ever since. She is everything we could have asked for and more. She is funny, adorable, kind, giving, helpful, brave, brilliant, talented and so much more. She is such a blessing to all of us and I can't imagine life without her. She is my oldest daughters best friend and my baby sister. I have to take a minute to brag about her talent. She is very creative and took the time to draw a picture of each of us and our favorite things. She is a gem! This was just a little project of hers. She also drew Callen's portrait, made a mosaic and is going to draw the mural on someone's wall. Isn't it amazing how the little ones in our life sometimes far surpass our expectations and make it look so easy?
