We went on a food hunt to look for food to take to our hotel in Playa Del Carmen. We were looking for a Costco and kept asking around for directions. Everyone we asked said "Costco"? No "Costco" - then they would say "Cosco"? Ah Si! Everyone knew where Cosco is but no one knew where Costco was. When we finally had it, we had dinner at the food court and I have to say that the Cancun Cosco has the BEST Pina Colada shakes ever. We then went in to stock up on food for the next week. It was surprising that the Costco was so similar to our here. The meat section was a little frightening but all in all we were able to stock up on some great food. The kids were kind of shocked at the two thousand seven hundred dollar bill until we explained to them that it was in pesos. I don't think I have ever gone grocery shopping with my whole family before. It was definitely an experience to remember!
