We are working hard here in California to pass Prop 8. I am the sign lady which means I get to pass out and put together 300 plus very dirty signs (I think it's motor oil all over the signs). We put signs up in our yard and neighborhood, made calls, wrote letters to the editors, stood on a street corner waving signs and put bumper stickers on our car. At first I was a little nervous to put the bumper stickers on our car but then I heard a lady in our stake say that she would be proud to have her car keyed - she looked at it as some kind of war wound. After that I thought - how could I not put a bumper sticker on. I mean really, what are the chances that our car would get keyed? Well, obviously our chances were pretty good. Trav's car was keyed and they did it in such a way that it was SO hard to tell who the perpetrator was.....
Yep, that is an 8. So it may be a long shot but I am thinking someone who is against Prop 8. Just a shot in the dark.
It is a pretty deep groove but we are calling on all of our Christian Courage (see the link below) to ignore the large 8 on our car and press on in this historical fight.

We just consider this vandalism our battle scar and we'll press forward to protect the sanctity of marriage and all or our religious freedoms! Join us in the fight and vote YES on PROP 8 November 4th.

That is truly disturbing. It really makes you realize how HEATED this battle is...(Sorry about the figure 8, that is aweful!) We will continue to pray for Prop 8, as we have prop 102 here in AZ. Best wishes for a good fight! FIGHT ON!
DISTURBING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am so sorry about Travis' car. That is terrible. You have a great attitude about it. This is why we are fighting this fight.

Woah! I can't believe this, Rachel!
Your blog looks great!
man, that stinks! i keep looking out our front window to the sign on our lawn half expecting to catch some sort of similar vandalism. i also am kind of waiting for a knock on the front door from the 2 gay guys that have lived next door for years...
slightly awkward.
That is awful! It takes courage to not be annonymous - good for you guys for taking your stand!
Wow Rach, that is horrible! What a fight. We'll be anxious to see how things turn out. Good luck this last week!
