I had a great birthday this year. My sister-in-law came into town to visit and we had a full day of basketball games and a quick trip to the beach. I just love saying that "quick trip to the beach". I guess it makes the high home prices and traffic worthwhile to go to the beach for a couple hours. I thought that this one (32) would be hard but it was no biggie. 30 was a bit harder. I hated typing 30 into the treadmill every morning but once I got past that then it was easy to turn 31 and 32. I guess I just feel old when the kids are shocked that I didn't have internet when I was little. Taylor said "mom, not even google?" Wow how times have changed. One of the best parts of my birthday was my chocolate cake at Outback. They were goign to try adn bring out the traditional ice cream birthday treat which I immediatl hand to Travis because I don't like ice cream. This year Trav spoke up and told the waiter that I don't like ice cream, could they bring something esle? Then they brought me that HUGE chocolate cake which I totally shared (ok so maybe I ate most of it but I did share a couple bites). It was amazing! My perfect day, beach, basketball, family and chocolate. All I was missing was a great book!

Happy Birthday! and hooray for Outback! I love that place - my birthday is coming up and that is my pick for dinner, too. and maybe i should reject the free ice cream in exchange for that cake, too!
rachel,
Is that a NOTHING BUNDT CAKE????? YUM YUM! I am hooked on that place. I don't believe for a second that you eat fattening food. You are too thin! If ever a time to indulge, I guess a b-day is that day! Isn't 32 fun?
