Awwww! I had to capture this moment because frankly sister peace, love and happiness doesn't happen all that often in our house. On Sunday morning Taylor picked out Lexie's clothes and helped her get ready for church. She even picked out a matching outfit for herself. I always try to get them to match but normally Taylor doesn't' want to so I was very pleasantly surprised. They looked so cute and were acting so cute towards each other that I had to stop and freeze frame this happy moment. Alexis just adores Taylor but sometimes Alexis is still in the "terrific" (tongue in cheek moment) two's and she rubs Taylor the wrong way and Taylor gets very easily bugged by her. I am hoping it is just a stage. I always wanted a close sister and I didn't have that when I was younger. Now that my sisters are older I LOVE it and I want my girls to appreciate it while they are still little. Any suggestions on how to create sisterly love? We're working on it!

I think your girls are on the right track! Ours are hit-and-miss with sisterly love. Sometimes they adore each other, sometimes...not :) I think it's pretty normal.
One thing we do is occasionally let the girls have a "sleep over" together in one of their rooms or with movies, etc. They love it.
